Mahe, Seychelles

These coconuts consist of two parts and contain the giant seeds in the plant world. Additionally, walk through the forested mountains of Mahé to see jellyfish trees. This tree species grows worldwide only on this island and is one of the rarest tree species on earth. You can also see giant tortoises on the Aldabra atoll. Most visitors go on vacation to this island paradise to enjoy the beaches and underwater adventures in the warm Indian Ocean. Enjoy the sun-drenched Beau Vallon Beach on Mahé or Honeymoon Beach on the island’s north. For a more active day, try surfing, water skiing or canoeing at one of Seychelles’ main beaches.
